Zanzibar Bureau of Standards is calling for Institutions, Companies and individuals to participate in the Excellence Awards Competition Season One (1) for the year 2026.

• CATEGORY 1: BEST COMPANY OF THE YEAR
  Two awards, MSE AND MLE: awarded to a company or organization that has proactively and effectively implemented quality principles.

  Two awards, MSE and MLE: awarded to a product that best reflects a commitment to quality.

• CATEGORY 3: BEST SERVICE PROVIDER OF THE YEAR
  Two awards, MSE and MLE—awarded to a locally-delivered service that best reflects commitment to local production and quality. This category is open from all sectors from private and public services.

• CATEGORY 4: BEST EXPORTER OF THE YEAR (General products)
  Two awards, MSE and MLE – awarded to a company or organization dealing with other product that has made significant progress in commencing or expanding to new or wider markets by introducing quality in their company.

• CATEGORY 5: INDIVIDUAL AWARD TO A PERSON WHO CONTRIBUTED TO SQAM
  This award is given to an individual who has made significant input into National Standards, Quality Assurance, Accreditation, and metrology efforts that contributed to the improvement of National Quality infrastructures.
