Destination Inspection is a conformity assessment procedure used to verify that products imported to Zanzibar are in conformity with the applicable national standards or approved international or foreign standards before entering in the Zanzibar market.

The good which are inspected under this scheme are:

1. All imported goods with not accompanied by Certificate of Conformity (CoC).
2. Used Motor vehicles and motor cycles.
3. Wet cargo (Petroleum Products)
